[Sticky] How do I contact ConferZoom Support directly?

You can contact "TechConnect ConferZoom" at support@ccctechconnect.organd then be patient.  Due to increased traffic, support is available through email only. The help desk is run locally through Palomar College and they are getting tons of traffic.

Your Distance Education team recommends browsing the topics in our Zoom Forum to see if the answer you need can be found there.  If not, you can also post your question there to see if one of our local SJDC Canvas/Zoom experts can help.

I suspect that my Canvas Confer Zoom account and my regular Zoom account are not properly connected. When I schedule Confer Zoom meetings through Canvas, they do not show up in my regular Zoom account. And if I record them, the recording is not hosted in my regular Zoom account. My original Zoom account was opened with my old email address ianievas@deltacollege.edu Could that be the problem? and who should I contact to have this issue fixed?

@Isabel Anievas - Your primary email in your Canvas account has to match your email with ConferZoom. I can adjust this in Canvas for you, and then connect it with ConferZoom, and you can then see if the next session works. I'll confirm when I've made the adjustment.

Yes, I suspected that ought to be the issue. My primary email address in Canvas is my current Delta College email address: isabel.anievas@deltacollege.edu

I think I have discussed this with somebody before, maybe Kerry? My ConferZoom in Canvas appears to be linked to my ianievas@deltacollege.edu Zoom account, but the connection does not appear to be working 🙁

Does that mean that I need to change my main email address in Canvas back to my old ianievas@deltacollege.edu? or can I change my main email address in Zoom to reflect my current email address: isabel.anievas@deltacollege.edu?

Okay. You are all set, Isabel.

Your Canvas account now has

And it is confirmed:

image

You can't change the account in ConferZoom, so the above solution is the only one at this point. 

Your old Zimbra email and the new firstname.lastname are really the same email account (the second is an alias that points to the first), so your email notifications from Canvas will go to the same mailbox.

This should fix your issue going forward. fingers crossed. Smile
