FYI: One of our tools on the navigation bar is Accommodate HQ. You can globally give a student more time or extra attempts on all assessments at once. However, I have discovered that it does not apply your accommodations to New Quizzes. Therefore, if you have any New quizzes, you need to just pick one of your New Quizzes and select "moderate". Find the student and edit the accommodations. This edit will apply to all New Quizzes for that student.

Mary,

I was looking at something else in Accommodate HQ and recalled your inquiry. I realized that I totally missed what you were asking! You were referring to 'new' quizzes added in the course and NOT the New Quizzes tool! Sorry about missing that.

Once special access has been granted to one or more students for all quizzes and tests, if you add any new tests and quizzes, you must update the global permissions to propagate the special accesses to the newly-added items.

Thanks for the heads-up, Mary! I'll alert the vendor of the app. I don't think there is wide support for New Quizzes by external applications yet, since it's not officially released.

I think they have moved their target date to 2022 (July?), if I recall right.

Wow, they are quite a ways out.  Talk about an early release!  I still prefer the New Quiz format over the old version.  I'm curious how many are using the newer version.
