Finally, I have a chance to explore ACCOMMODATE HQ!

Is there a way for our AMAZING FRIENDS at Études to change the way extended time is entered in GLOBAL BY STUDENT? Here's what I mean:

If a student is certified for 1.5 time —

Then, optimal: enter a multiple vs. minutes. (If memory serves, Études was programmed for a multiple — which made life sooooooooo much easier!)

Entering minutes makes GLOBAL 100% illogical —unless— all timed QUIZZES/EXAMS are set to the same SAME AMOUNT of time. (Maybe I'm an outlier, but this never happens in my courses.)

Thanks so much.

Appreciate the feedback... thoughts... follow-up advice!

Happy

Deanna,

Unfortunately, Etudes is limited to the available functionality (API's) of Canvas. 🙁 As you know, Canvas does not support a multiplier. Minutes is the only option that the Etudes had in implementing this feature.

In most cases, faculty allocate the same amount of time in quizzes, so I'd go with that with the global function. Then, you'll have to tweak the exams manually, which is usually fewer.

If Canvas ever introduces support for multipliers when extending time, this can be revisited. Smile

Dear Vivie —

Okay. Thank you!

That would be cool to use a multiplier.  I'm lazy and just make all my exams the same time frame so I don't have to do higher math!!  LoL    90 minutes + 45 minutes for 1.5 bingo!!
