This agreement pertains to the faculty adoption and use of Open Educational Resources (OER) when teaching a dual enrollment course. OER are defined as resources that reside in the public domain or have a license that permits free use by others.
As per Bill AB-288 that governs dual enrollment, students in the program cannot incur any costs for textbooks. In order to teach dual enrollment, the faculty member agrees to adopt OER or free digital materials as the primary learning materials for their course.
Please provide details as to how textbooks will be funded or provided to students, free of charge.
