FAQ – Troubleshooting Tips

If you are trying to download a Canvas Template and the Download/Import button is not working for you, you may need to clear your browser’s cache and allow pop-ups. Please refer to the below instructions.

Most web browsers include a feature to block pop-up windows. While this may eliminate unwanted or bothersome pop-up windows, the feature sometimes can impede the functionality of legitimate or useful websites.

Follow the instructions below to configure your web browser to allow pop-up windows for your selected websites.

 

Google Chrome (Windows/OS X)

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click the Tools Menu (three dotted lines in the upper-right corner).
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Click Privacy and Security 
  5. Select Site Settings
  6. Under content Select Pop-Ups and Redirects 
  7. Click Add. Copy and paste https://pdcdeltacollege.com/de/templates/ into Site field. Click Add.
  8. Close any remaining dialog boxes.

 

Mozilla Firefox (Windows/OS X)

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click the Hamburger Menu (3 stacked lines) in the upper-right corner.
  3. Choose Options
  4. Select Privacy and Security from the menu on the left-hand side.
  5. Scroll down to the Permissions section and find the setting Block Pop-up windows.
  6. Click the Exceptions button to the right of this setting.  Copy and paste https://pdcdeltacollege.com/de/templates/ into Address of website field, then click Allow. The selected webpage is added to the list of Allowed Sites.
  7. Click Save Changes.
  8. Close any remaining dialog boxes.

 

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Select Settings and More (ellipses button on the top right corner), a drop-down menu will open.
  3. Click Settings, on the left-most menu. Select Cookies and site permissions. 
  4.  Scroll down and click Pop-ups and redirects.
  5. Click the Add button in the Allow box to allow pop-ups on specific sites.
  6. Copy and paste https://pdcdeltacollege.com/de/templates/   in the Add a site box. Click Add.
  7. Close any remaining dialog boxes.
