If you have enrolled in Delta courses in the past two semesters,  skip to step 4.

New & Returning Students

If you are new to Delta or have not enrolled in courses in the past two consecutive semesters, apply (or reapply) for Admission early to ensure you can register for classes! 

The basic steps to complete and submit an application are:

1. 1. Create an OpenCCC Account If you don’t already have one.
   2. Sign-in to your OpenCCC Account and start an application.
      (If you do not remember your username and password, select “Forgot” or contact support at 877-247-4836 or email at support@openccc.net)
   3. Submit the San Joaquin Delta College Application Login-in and be sure your application is submitted.

Note: Do not use your school email when applying. Use a gmail or yahoo account.

Please note that you’ll receive two confirmation numbers. If you do not receive the email with your Delta ID within one week, please contact CollegeEarlyStart@deltacollege.edu

How-to Video: Admissions Process

After submitting your Delta Admission Application, you will receive a “Welcome to Delta” email at the email address you used on the application. The welcome email will include your Delta College student ID number.

If you do not receive the email with your Delta ID within one week, please contact CollegeEarlyStart@deltacollege.edu. Please include a screen shot of your application’s confirmation message to help us it track down. 

Before you can enroll in Delta courses, you must complete the College Early Start (CES) form. You must submit a CES form every term. It will be routed to your parent and high school official’s designee to sign, electronically, upon your submitting it.

Note: You will need to enter the name and email addresses of a school official’s designee (typically a counselor or Principal).

1. 1. Look up your School’s Contact Information!
   2. Submit College Early Start form (for high school students)

Note: If you attend an adult education school, submit SB-554 College Early Start form

We will notify your counselor as soon as your CES form has been processed.

Skip this step if you are not enrolling in ENG 1A or Math 12 or Math 13.

If you will enroll in English 1A or Math 12 or Math 13, you must request that the Placement Center clear your level.

Please wait until your CES form is processed prior to submitting your request.

• • Request to be cleared for English 1A
  • Request to be cleared for Math 12 or Math 13

You will be notified via email once you are cleared.

Registration is conducted online only.

• • You may register for classes on or after your scheduled registration date and time, not before.
  • Past fees and/or Administrative and Academic Holds must be cleared prior to registration.
