Objective

By the end of this training course, you will be able to create engaging videos that clarify complex concepts and showcase your personality and teaching style, using Canvas Studio’s recording, editing, and annotation tools.

Registration closes on December 1, at 5:00pm

Length: We estimate faculty will take about 2 weeks to complete this training. You will be given a window of 4 weeks to complete to accommodate your schedule. Canvas Part 1, 2, and 3 may be taken out of order. 
Prerequisites: Minimal Canvas experience is needed.

Part 2: Build Empathy and Connection by Creating a Supportive Environment

Record your screen
Use the cut and edit tool
Use overlay arrows and blur
Add annotations to engage your students
Create a webcam recording of student support resources
Video narration
Add Captions to your videos
Capstone Project: Canvas Course Walkthrough

Satisfactory Completion  

Faculty who complete this training program will earn a badge and a certificate of completion. Participants must complete the Capstone Assignment with a grade of at least 75% to earn a badge and certificate, and a $200.00 stipend. Faculty may also claim 10 hours of flex.
