Objective

By the end of this training course, you will be able to understand the benefits of using Canvas Studio to humanize your online classes and foster a sense of community and shared learning.

Registration closes on December 1, at 5:00pm

Length: We estimate faculty will take about 2 weeks to complete this training. You will be given a window of 4 weeks to complete to accommodate your schedule. Canvas Part 1, 2, and 3 may be taken out of order. 
Prerequisites: Minimal Canvas experience is needed.

Part 1: Humanize Your Course by Fostering a Sense of Belonging

Skills

Create a screen recording
Use the cut and edit tool
Add music to your videos
Use text & name overlays
Record your webcam
Add captions to your video
Make videos more interactive via comments
Capstone Project: Welcome Video  

Satisfactory Completion  

Faculty who complete this training program will earn a badge and a certificate of completion. Participants must complete the Capstone Assignment with a grade of at least 75% to earn a badge and certificate, and a $200.00 stipend. Faculty may also claim 10 hours of flex.
